Selfish Much?

I am now, and I don’t even feel bad… Maybe that comes with age!

Since I worked so hard to get my Goals accomplished last week I think it would only be fitting to have a nice night out by the fire pit listening to one of my favorite musicians while watching the sun set and waiting on the next big Idea, or Tea lol. There’s never a dull moment around here.

What are you doing for yourself this week?

Have you scheduled some time to relax and take your mind off of work and all things business?

It’s really necessary ya know, some attitudes, arguments and bad vibez can be avoided if you take time to unwind.

I’ve learned that it doesn’t always have to be a vacation- Just Do It!

Tell the spouse and children you’re unavailable for the next 24 hours (trust me, they can handle it).

Create your own time and space, whatever makes you comfortable and puts you at peace.

A full day of relaxing for me can consist of ; breakfast at a restaurant with outdoor dining, reading a good blog, and then on to the nail salon for a mani/pedi, after that I could use a good movie matinee with a large tub of popcorn and a soda, slip in a good nap before taking a afternoon stroll at the park to sit near the water and reflect, write, and release, to top the evening off maybe a nice steak and salad and then early to bed for a good night's rest.

Oh Man what a dreamy day… I honestly haven't had one of these in a long time.

I think now’s a good time to pull out my calendar and see what day I’ll be making this a reality.

Take time to take care of you, and then you can be better for everyone else around you!
